| Welcome to the Moodmakers' Sounds page | [back to Sounds in Staigerland] |
A little bit of History:
In 1978, I played in a 3-man band and before we split we decided to make a recording. We recorded a bunch of music pieces in a professional studio, our band was called the Moodmakers. We were able to have free access to this free recording studio because they had just purchased a new mixing table and needed tons of sounds and noises in order to experiment with all those new sliders, buttons, toggles etc... we essentially came in over 2 months once a week to make noise! Now Then...Here's who we were:
- Andre Haering (guitars, xylophone, vocals, kazoo, several voices...)
- Christoph Wolf (drums, percussions, and more drums :-)
- me (Philip Staiger) at the piano
I recently rediscovered a tape with that recording. Here's a few
samples. You'll need either the RealNetworks
player or something like Winamp
or MusicMatch (and there
are many other cool ones :-) Oh and let's not forget my
alltime favorite viewer/player: Irfanview !
